Windows 7 Build 7600 Evolves, the OS Has Not RTM'd

Windows 7 has not been released to manufacturing, despite reports to the contrary coming from a variety of third-party sources and from the Redmond company itself. The latest leaked build of the operating system, 6.1.7600.16384.win7_rtm.090710-1945, is, in this context, not the final development milestone for the next iteration of the Windows client. Confirmation of this was issued by both Microsoft itself and additional sources that had previously forecasted that Windows 7 would go gold on July 13th, 2009. While the software giant moved to set the record straight denying the RTM of Windows Vista’s successors, non-Microsoft reports indicate that the company has taken Build 7600 beyond the 6.1.7600.16384.win7_rtm.090710-1945 mark.

On July 13th, two contradictory pieces of information were released by Microsoft. First off, there was the Windows blog, claiming that Windows 7 had not been signed off and that there was still work to be done. And then there were the words of Bill Veghte, senior vice president, Windows Business, from his keynote at the Worldwide Partner Conference 2009, which were originally:

Steps To Remove Spyware

(Please Bookmark this page and take a printout before performing the steps)(# If you are unable to run the given Spyware removal tools, please Rename the Spyware removal tools file name to iexplorer.exe while saving it and then run it)

1. Restart your computer. As your computer restarts but before Windows launches, tap "F8" key constantly. Use the arrow keys to highlight the "Safe Mode with Networking" option and then press ENTER.

2. Open Internet Explorer >> Click on Tools >> Click on Internet Options >> In the the Internet Options window click on the Connections tab >> Then click on the LAN settings button >> Now you will see Local Area Network (LAN) settings window >> Uncheck the checkbox labeled "Use a proxy server for your LAN" under the Proxy Server section and press OK.

3. Download and Run SmitfraudFix

# Run SmitfraudFix.exe and select the option 2 and follow the on screen instructions. Then select the option 5 and continue. Then Exit.

4. Download and Run Malwarebytes' AntiMalware.
