Get new Google Voice phone number for $10

4 July 2009 1,259 views No Comment

Google Voice recently snagged about a million US phone numbers to use for the service, which lets users give out a single phone number that will ring all their phones and record, transcribe, and email voicemail messages. Now, if for some reasons, you want a number change, Google is offering a chance to change numbers for $10. When you change numbers, all calls made to your old number will continue coming to your new number for 90 days. What’s also nice is that in picking your new number, you can search by area code and by a word that you want your number to contain. So for example if I search for area code 408 and the word “tuna,” I can get a 408 number that ends in 8862 (”T-U-N-A” on a keypad).
